Cross the street to check out vibrant murals of historical celebrities and the colorful crosswalks—they set the tone for this artsy neighborhood. From there, walk east down Olive Avenue and along the way, you’ll spot murals with comic book villains and a set of angel wings painted against a cotton candy-pink backdrop—perfect for a photo-op. Where to go: Make your way to the Art of Life Healing Garden, tucked inside Woodward Park. This peaceful spot is filled with mosaic benches, colorful paintings created by local artists of all ages, and thoughtful sculptures scattered throughout. Take a moment to sit on one of the benches and enjoy the view overlooking the nearby San Joaquin River—it’s the perfect place to pause and soak in nature.

Where to go: Start your day at the park at 1615 Fulton Street, open from 9:00AM–6:00PM. Enjoy the playground, grassy areas, and the evening lights if you stay later. Take a short walk over to Arte Américas, to enjoy this museum on Latinx art and culture. The museum is open Thursdays from 12:00 PM–8:00 PM and Friday–Sunday from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, making it easy to pair a visit to the park and getting a closer look into Fresno County's local artists and cultural heritage.
