Blossom Trail Events

Fresno County Blossom Trail - Runs through Mid-March (weather permitting)

About the event: Drive along a path of pink and white blossoms and see why there is truly nothing like a California winter. You’ll be in a blizzard of blossoms on your journey through the Blossom Trail in Fresno County. The Blossom Trail begins once the almond and orange orchards begin blooming. 

Kings River Blossom Bike Ride 2024 - March 2

About the event: The 34th Annual Blossom Bike Ride will take place on March 4, 2024. We are currently working on the routes for this year.  As the mileage gets longer, the route provides more of a challenge. Our 7-mile family ride takes you along the rails to the trail pathway through Reedley. The 20-mile route offers more scenic landscapes northeast of town for your viewing pleasure. If you are looking for a little more challenge, you might want to try our 40-mile route. This will get you started on the right course of mileage for the year. If you are looking for a longer ride, we offer the 60-mile route with some climbing. This route will take you into the foothills east of Reedley. The ride takes place rain or shineRegister here.

35th Annual Blossom Day Festival - March 9 

Location: Downtown Sanger, Sanger, CA 93657

Time: 7 am to 3 pm 

About the event: The 35th Annual Blossom Day Festival kicks off in Downtown Sanger on Saturday, March 9. This day is filled with fun for the entire family from car shows, arts and crafts, and food. Find more details here.

Hillcrest Blossom Trail Train Ride - March 2-3; March 9-10; March 16-17 

Location: 6943 S Reed Ave, Reedley, CA 93654

Time: 10 am to 5 pm

About the event: Come enjoy a 15-minute tour of the farm on an exquisite half-scale, live steam, narrow gauge railroad for only $4.00 per person, age 2 and up.  Also enjoy children’s play areas, trails & picnic areas. Snacks and drinks are available, and Hot food on weekends seasonally. The third weekend, March 16 and March 17 is Reedley Railfest with lots of trains running and food. Details here.



Rogue Festival - March 1- March 9

Spring Fresno Home and Garden Show - March 3- March 4

About the event: Talk to licensed contractors, shop gourmet foods, and an entire building of artisans/crafters, and dine at the 2 Outdoor Food Courts with fair food and gourmet food trucks! Learn from the Master Gardeners and Flower Societies, and shop the garden market all located in the Garden Pavilion.

Bald Eagle Canoe Tour- March 2 & March 16

Time: 8 am to 11 am 

About the event: Enjoy a morning of guided canoeing and Bald Eagle observations at Sycamore Island! Perfect for first-time paddlers and novice birders. You’ll learn basic paddling skills and practice your observation skills on this three-hour tour. While Bald Eagle sightings are likely, they cannot be guaranteed. Click here to reserve.

Chocolate Factory Tour and Tasting - Every Sunday in March

About the event: Experience how chocolate is made in a guided tour where you will touch the cacao beans, smell the nibs, see the magic of chocolate making, learn about the aging of chocolate blocks, and sample various chocolates made in a factory. 

Evanelle Vineyards Latin Dance Party - March 14

Ani-Me Con 12.0 - March 16- March 17

About the event: Ani-Me Con is the biggest annual anime/gaming/sci-fi convention in the Central Valley, attracting more than 8,000 attendees during the 2-day convention. This event will have over 150+ vendors, 100+ guests, artists, exhibitors, and fan clubs. Clovis Craft Beer Crawl - March 17

About the event: The biggest block party in Downtown Fresno is returning on Saturday, March 23. It’s going to be bigger and better than ever. Clovis Vintage Market & Antiques - March 24
