Welcome, May! There are so many great events happening this month in Fresno County. Check out the Fresno County Fruit Trail, head out to the Kingsburg Swedish Festival and catch one of the largest tequila festivals in the state.

Fresno County Fruit Trail - Begins Mid-May

About the event: The Fresno County Fruit Trail gives you the chance to explore some of California's best agricultural offerings. From cherries to peaches, plums to apricots, you'll not only taste a variety of fresh fruits, but you'll get to meet the farmers who grow, pick and package them. 

Clovis Trail Fest - May 2

Location: Trails from 3rd St. and Clovis Ave to Dry Creek Park and Railroad Park in Clovis

Time: 8AM-12PM

About the event: It's time for the 10th annual Clovis Trail Fest! The free community family event is held along the Old Town and Dry Creek Trails from 3rd St. and Clovis Ave to Dry Creek Park and Railroad Park. Start or end at any location and walk, bike, run, or scooter along the trail. Activities, demonstrations, live music, and snacks for all ages are offered at over 30+ locations along the trail and at adjacent parks. Learn more here.

Chanticleer Shakespeare Co. Presents: The Tempest - May 1-3

About the event: Chanticleer Shakespeare Company will open its 2026 season with a production of William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest,” directed by artistic director Blake Ellis and starring Broadway actor and Fresno native Jacqueline Antaramian as Prospero.
