Fresno County produces wine grapes for every 1 in 5 wine glasses served in California! Sip your way through this underground wine country. All vineyards are still family-owned and operated, offering more intimate tastings.
Fresno Wineries
The glass is always half full when you visit the wineries in Fresno. Ziveli Winery taps in to their European roots, starting with their name “Ziveli” which means cheers in Croatian! Get ready to raise a glass and feel a warm welcome when you stop by for a tasting or their weekly events. Enjoy wine and live music at Engelmann Cellars. You can reserve a table during their summer events or bring your own blanket. Sample and pick up wine made by Fresno State students! The Fresno State Winery is a student-run vineyard that produces different wines throughout the year.

Clovis Wineries
In Clovis, stop by 3 Oaks Vineyard & Winery. The boutique-style vineyard offers many varieties of wine including Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. They also host creative workshops throughout the year, from charcuterie board building, holiday-themed events and more.
If you're in Old Town Clovis, visit Cork & Knife, a wine and cheese bar that features local wines from all over the county. It's a great place for those looking for a fun culinary experience. The store offers a variety of wines to pair with artisanal cheeses.
Fresno County Wineries
You'll find more great wineries just a short drive from Fresno and Clovis. Kings River Winery in Sanger offers private tours and tastings. They're best known for their sparkling wine, and have an intimate tasting room. They also host several events throughout the year. In Friant, get a great view of the Sierra foothills while sipping various wines at Solitary Cellars. During the summer, they host several events with live music.
In western Fresno County, stop by Cardella Winery in Mendota. The family-run winery brings a taste of Tuscany right in Fresno County and provide tours of the facility. Yribarren Family Vineyards is a boutique, family-run vineyard that produces wines, almonds, pistachios and raisins. Stop by to pick up one of their specialty wines.
