Description
Located in Fresno, La Grande Laveuse (Washer Woman) is one of the only six original bronze castings of the Washer Woman that exist in the world. The other five sculptures are located in Fontvielle Park, Monaco, The Tate Gallery in London, the Philadelphia Art Museum, and Washington University in St. Louis. Fresno's Washer Woman is the only one of the six other sculptures that is free to touch by the public. La Grande Laveuse was made by Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Richard Guino.
