Join us out at Sycamore Island for a day of exploring nature, team building activities, and kayaking! Activities will include:
• Nature Walk: Explore the beautiful Riparian environment Sycamore Island offers, learn about local flora and fauna, and observe the San Joaquin.
• Team building: Put your communication skills to the test with a variety of ground-based games and puzzles that challenge your communication and critical thinking skills. Masks will be required for any teambuilding that requires participants to be less than 3 feet apart.
• Kayaking: Take your communication skills on the water! Together we will paddle around a calm pond off of the San Joaquin River. There will be an opportunity for us to explore our surroundings as well as perform a variety of team building exercises on the water.
Please bring a water bottle, snack, and mask to have on hand. Hand sanitizer will be provided. Dress appropriately for fluctuating fall weather and wear shoes that can get wet/muddy. Once on site at Sycamore Island (39664 Ave 7 ½, Madera), follow signs for the bait shop and look for the kayak trailer to meet your guide.
