La Estrella Bakery

A Fresno favorite for more than 20 years, La Estrella Bakery has grown from a small neighborhood bakery into a family-owned business with plenty to offer. Its original location is still next door to the expanded bakery, a little reminder of where it all started in the early 2000s. Pick up a few conchas, puerquitos (those sweet pig-shaped cookies), or bolillos to take home. And if you’re craving something savory, La Estrella also has a full-service restaurant serving freshly made tortillas, tacos, burritos, and more. You’ll also have some cafecito to sip on alongside your pan dulce, currently they offer pour-over coffee and champurrado, a traditional warm chocolate-based drink that makes a delicious pairing with sweet bread.
