Umi Sushi

One of Darian's favorite spots to eat is Umi Sushi, a family-owned restaurant located in Downtown Fresno. Her favorite menu item here is the Chicken Roll or the Dragon roll, both featuring their delicious signature sauce, Unagi sauce.

Heirloom

Heirloom is a farm-to-table restaurant located in North Fresno that sources locally-grown ingredients for all its meals. Darian is a big fan of the Ancho Crusted Tri-Tip with a side of fried rice or the cobb salad.

You can find legendary food at Legendary Pho Kitchen in West Fresno! This hidden gem is one of Darian's favorite spots to get authentic Vietnamese pho. She recommends the classic Chicken Pho.

Full Circle Brewing Co.

Darian loves stopping by local breweries on the weekends. One of her favorite go-to spots is Full Circle Brewing Co. located in Downtown Fresno! Her favorite drink to get here is their Peachy Michi. Hungry Bear Cookies

This locally-owned bakery has been around in Fresno for over 30 years, serving the tastiest cookies around. This spot is Darian's favorite spot to find a sweet treat. Her favorite cookie to get is their classic oatmeal cookie.

Fall
Out of all of the seasons, Darian loves fall the most in Fresno County. She prefers spending time in the cooler weather and watching the leaves change color. Her favorite activities in the fall are ClovisFest in late September watching the hot air balloons launch and celebrating Halloween at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo's events ZooBoo.

Greek Fest
Darian loves experiencing Greek culture come to life at the annual Greek Fest in Fresno! Every September, the Greek community comes together to celebrate its heritage by hosting a several-day festival at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Central Fresno. Here you can find delicious homemade Greek food and pastries, local vendors, live music, and plenty more. Learn more here.
IllumiNature at Fresno Chaffee Zoo
Experience Christmas time at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo! One of Darian's favorite holiday events is IllumiNature held during the winter season. Visitors can check out all of the festive holiday decorations and the miles of holiday lights during this exciting event. This event also offers live entertainment, theme nights, and photos with Santa!
