Fresno County Fruit Trail

About the event: With its lush farmlands and orchards, the Fresno County Fruit Trail is a feast for the senses, offering you the chance to explore some of California's best agricultural offerings. From cherries to peaches, plums to apricots, you'll not only taste a variety of fresh fruits but you'll get to meet the farmers who grow, pick and package them. 

33rd Annual Fresno Pride Parade & Festival - June 3

Location: Tower District & Fresno City College

Time: 10 am to 3 pm

About the event: The 33rd annual Fresno Pride Parade and Festival are back on June 3! The parade will go through the heart of the Tower District on Olive Avenue starting at 10 am. After the parade, head out to Fresno City College for a festival with food, vendor booths and a beer garden. Details here.

Hot Fudge Sundae 5k Run & Walk - June 3

Fresno Cactus & Succulent Society Annual Plant Sale & Show - June 10-11

Location: Fresno Fairgrounds, 1121 S Chance Ave, Fresno, CA 93702

Time: Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm & Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm

About the event: The Fresno Cactus & Succulent Society is having its Annual Plant Sale & Show. It'll be held at the Fresno Fairgrounds in the Commerce Building with local and statewide vendors offering rare, unique, and beautiful cacti, succulents and handmade pottery. This is a great opportunity to find the perfect drought tolerant plant for your home and yard. There is also a plant show featuring hundreds of expertly grown plants. Free admission and parking. Family Movie Nights at Frank H. Ball Park - June 14, 21 & 28

Hikes for History: Potholes Trail - June 17

Location: 42642 Tollhouse Rd, Shaver Lake, CA 93664

Time: 10 am

About the event: The Potholes Trail (1.5 miles roundtrip) starts at the parking area of Camp Sierra and to the right of Abednego cabin. The trail meanders down to the bottom of the canyon, and ends at the bottom of the canyon. Upon returning to the trailhead, the nearby BBQ area at Camp Sierra will be available for hikers to gather after the hike and enjoy their own lunch. Hikers must bring their own food and water and are encouraged to wear proper hiking attire, bring sun protection and bug repellent. Fresno Father's Day Run - June 18

Location: Woodward Park, 7775 N Friant Rd, Fresno, CA 93720

Time: 7 am

About the event: Celebrate Dad by taking part in the 57th annual Father's Day Run. Run the 10k or the 2-mile run/walk. After the race you'll be awarded with prizes including a free root beer float! Register here.

11th Annual Armenian Festival - June 24

Location: 3767 N First St., Fresno, CA 93710

Time: 4 pm to 10 pm

About the event: St.Paul Armenian Church invites the entire Fresno community to their 11th Annual Armenian Festival on June 24th from 4pm to 10pm. This event is Free Admission! There will be dine in and take out food, silent auction, country store, vendors, farmer's market, and church tours. There will be music by DJ Mher, performance by the Fresno Armenian Dance Group and children's activities (bounce house, face painting, balloon twisting, and more). Find more information here.

Beethoven's Ninth - June 11

About the event: Commemorating the 60th anniversary of JFK’s 1963 nationally televised speech that led to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, this performance of Damien Geter’s The Justice Symphony, centered on anthems from the Civil Rights era, highlights contemporary challenges in social engagement.
