Fresno Grizzlies Opening Day - April 9

Clovis Rodeo - April 24-28

About the event: The Clovis Rodeo is the best of country living all wrangled up into one huge occasion. One of the top five rodeos in California, it is part of the ProRodeo/Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Tour. Events Include Professional Bull Riding, PRCA performances, jackpot roping and celebrity roping events. Arts Alive in Agriculture: Juried Exhibition and Reception - April 18

About the event: Arts Alive in Agriculture is a celebration of our agricultural industry through the visual arts with the intent to promote and encourage creative perspectives on our intimate relationships with food production here in the Central Valley. Chocolicious 5/15k - April 27

Location: Woodward Park, 7775 N Friant Rd, Fresno, CA 93720

About the event: Run or walk one of three courses and be rewarded with LOTS of chocolate during the Chocolicious Run at Woodward Park. Runners can run the 5k or 15k course or walk along the 2-mile trail. Register for the race here. 

Clovis Rodeo Parade - April 27

About the event: Traditionally held the Saturday of rodeo week, the parade features more than 120 entries in 27 different categories. It winds through the streets of Old Town Clovis to the cheers of the thousands of parade fans lining the route. Whether you come for the marching bands, horse-drawn vehicles, mounted groups, novelty acts or themed floats it is certain to be worth the trip. Details here.
