Celebrate Local Artists and Take Part in Community Art Contest During Fresno County Art Month

Experience art in a community booming with creativity! Celebrate local artists and enter your art for a chance to win a prize during Art Month in Fresno County this January.

Visit Fresno County’s mobile app will help you plan your journey through Fresno County’s incredible art scene. Walk through Downtown Fresno’s Mural District, where muralists have left their mark for all to enjoy. Discover work by Central Valley artists and artwork from around the world at the Fresno Art Museum. Take part in Fresno’s monthly ArtHop, the local art crawl where creators exhibit and sell their work Downtown and the Tower District.

Enjoy art beyond the frame and let the power of music take you on a journey during a Fresno Philharmonic concert and enjoy a play at Fresno County’s various community theaters—including Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theatre and Reedley Opera House. Learn about bonsai, the Japanese art form of growing miniature trees, at the Clark Bonsai Collection at Shinzen Japanese Friendship Garden. Visit Kingsburg’s Swedish Village to see vibrant murals and hand painted Dala horses. Support artisans who have perfected their trade and shop unique, handcrafted items at shops throughout Fresno and Clovis.

During Art Month, the Fresno/Clovis Convention and Visitors Bureau will hold an art competition for all ages to participate. Share works of your art or photographs that represent the beauty of Fresno County. Submit your work to info@fresnocvb.org for a chance to win a prize. Our team will present the top four submissions on our website for the community to vote. Submissions are due Tuesday, January 31, 2023, by 5:00 pm.
