San Joaquin Clay and Glass Festival

The San Joaquin Clay & Glass Association (SJCGA) will host its 44th Annual Winter Holiday Clay & Glass Festival on Saturday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1084 W. Bullard Ave. in Fresno.

This year’s event will be the largest in its history, featuring more than 40 local artists showcasing original work in clay and glass. The festival highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of Central Valley makers, offering everything from functional pottery and decorative sculpture to blown glass, jewelry, ornaments, and fine art—perfect for unique holiday gifts.

“The Winter Holiday Festival is one of Fresno’s most beloved art traditions,” said Ren Lee, a spokesperson for SJCGA. “It’s a celebration of craftsmanship and community that continues to grow each year.”

Among the featured artists is Ren Lee, a Fresno-based ceramic artist known for her handbuilt sculptural pieces that explore form, balance, and the quiet rhythm of working with clay. “Each piece has its own personality,” Lee said. “Clay teaches patience—it’s about letting go of perfection and finding beauty in the process.”

The festival is free to attend, with plenty of parking available. The event will be held rain or shine.

SJCGA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the local clay and glass arts community through exhibitions, education, and outreach. Proceeds from the festival help fund future programs and artist opportunities throughout the Central Valley.
