Celebrate the season with an evening of music filled with warmth, joy, and dazzling energy. Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis bursts with brilliance and color, transforming simple themes into sparkling orchestral fireworks. Beethoven’s radiant Eighth Symphony brims with wit, charm, and vitality—a perfect reflection of the festive spirit. Brahms’ beloved Hungarian Dance No. 6 brings irresistible rhythm and fiery character, a perennial favorite that captures the joy of music-making. The program concludes with Kodály’s Háry János Suite, a whimsical and richly orchestrated tale overflowing with Hungarian folk flavor, humor, and heart. Together, these works promise a holiday concert that is as vibrant and uplifting as the season itself.
