If you're looking to show off your summer trip on social media, there isn't a better spot than Fresno County. Whether it'd be hiking near a majestic waterfall, admiring artwork at one of our museums, or jamming out to the local music scene, here are plenty of fun activities you can do this season. 

Fresno County Fruit Trail

Sunshine's Farm

If you're craving, blackberries, apricots, or peaches, you're in luck! These fruits are officially in season for summer. Fresno County feeds the world, and you'll find them at our very own local farms. You can find fresh peaches at Hudson Farms along with their special Blushing Peach Pie family recipe. Blackberries and blueberries can be found at the adorable Berry Cottage at Royal Dawn Berries in Kingsburg along with homemade jams and baked goods. Water Parks

Island Water Park

Splash your way into our family-fun waterparks! Wild Water Adventure Park in Clovis offers 20 different attractions and over 30 slides for everyone to enjoy. Cabanas are also available to rent to lounge by the water. Visitors can also stop by Island Waterpark in Fresno that features various slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, a bar for parents, and plenty more. After Dark Night Slides is also held here where attendees are able to experience the park after hours and get a taste of some of Fresno County's best food trucks! 

Hiking

With the sun shining, the snow is now melting nearby at our Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks. With snowmelt, brings jaw-dropping views of waterfalls that are featured at multiple trails of all skill levels including Vernal Falls in Yosemite or Roaring River Falls at Sequoia. If you want to stay closer to the Fresno/Clovis area, you can visit Pincushion Mountain Peak located near Friant, California. This is a moderate trail that oversees Millerton Lake and is a local favorite. For more of a challenge, you can hike the Big Table Mountain Trail located further up the San Joaquin River with the view of the river and the bloom of the wildflowers. Be sure to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water before you go out on the trail.

Clovis Big Dry Creek Museum

Explore the Clovis Museum in Old Town Clovis! This museum features exhibits, pictures and artifacts that tell the story of Clovis and the community's history. Learn about the founders of Clovis, local Native American tribes, and so much more. Afterwards, you can cruise down Old Town Clovis for a bite to eat at Luna Pizzeria & Italian or Bobby Salazar's Mexican Restaurant.

Cold drink, anyone? Whether you're in Fresno or Clovis, there are plenty of options to tap into the brewery scene in Fresno County. Stop by Crow & Wolf Brewing Company, a family-friendly, industrial-styled bar that features a range of craft beer, fruit-based ciders, and more. If you're along the Brewery District in Fresno, stop by Tioga Sequoia Brewing Company that pour hops inspired by our nearby national parks including Half Dome and the General Sherman. Find your next killer outfit at one of our many shopping districts! Stop by River Park Shopping Center in Fresno to shop both local boutiques such as Julia Vogue and large fashion retailers like H&M and Victoria's Secret. After your shopping spree, lounge with a cold drink at BarrelHouse Brewing or grub out at J Pot. Visitors can also check out Sierra Vista Mall in Clovis that features small businesses including Isabella's Boutique and Silk Road Gallery along with big-name retailers. Get your game on at No Surrender Laser Tag & Adventure Park or end the night with a movie at Sierra Vista Cinemas 16.

If you're in the mood to get your groove on, there are plenty of options around Fresno County. Listen to local jazz musicians every week for Jazz Tuesdayz at The Fulton if you're in Downtown Fresno. If you're interested in a more alternative sound, visit Strummer's in Fresno's Tower District, a venue that pays homage to The Clash frontman, Joe Strummer.
